Stanmore Jafferys are pleased to hold sporting activities in support of WF-AID's Ali Asghar Water Appeal.
Our primary purpose is geared towards making this world a better place through our love of sports. There is no better way to making a difference together than to help raise funds for WF-AIDs life changing projects through your donations and fundraising. We are humbly asking you again to help us help humanity
Our Projects
All donations collected as part of this campaign will be dedicated to supporting 2 projects where is a desperate need for water solutions:
1. Tanzania Borewell – This years main flagship project aims to drill 6 bore wells across five villages in Tanga region of Tanzania and provide reliable access to clean water. The water will also be connected to other infrastructure such as schools, mosques, clinics and public areas. These projects will provide 100 litres of clean water per household.
2. Pakistan Tube Well - this project aims to install a tube well in Parachinar, Pakistan, providing residents with clean drinking water. Solar panels will be set up to power the tube well promoting sustainability and reducing dependence on unreliable electrical grid in the area. The tube well is expected to provide water for 2,000 people daily, benefitting 60,000 people each month.
Our Impact
Over the last 5 years we have raised over £400,000 for WF-AIDs flagship Ali Asghar Water Appeal to bring life-changing sustainable WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) initiatives to hundreds of families who are less fortunate than we are and whose only hope is our generosity.
