On September 1st I will inshallah run the Big Half Marathon in London. My youngest child will be 5 months old when I undertake this challenge… and trust me it will be a challenge! I am not a runner, have never been a runner but I do intend to become one by race day!
I would like to dedicate this half marathon to WF-AID's Ali Asghar Water Appeal. Any of your generous donations will be used to support projects where there is a desperate need for water in Tanzania and Pakistan.
I am so fortunate to have food on the table to provide my children, access to clean water and the ability to feed my newborn baby. I believe every mother deserves access to clean drinking water to facilitate nursing her child. Every child, school, mosque and community deserves access to these life-changing sustainable WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) initiatives that YOUR donations will help provide.
