"Orison" means "prayer" and Orison Charitable Trust is named so to invoke a prayer from the various beneficiaries and recipients of the myriad activities it carries out all over the world. Impoverished people in underdeveloped countries need all kinds of support. Orison Charitable Trust, OCT, believes in empowering locals in these countries through a structure of support and training that goes a long way in creating visionary local manpower that will be equipped to carry the future generations of their indigenous societies.

OCT works with local NGOs in Africa, India, Philippines and Bangladesh to provide educational, social, religious and financial support and welfare.
