Maida Mohamed is a 17 year old girl who had an electric pole fall on her on 07th December 2023. The doctors at Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute performed External-fixation on her leg. Unfortunately the procedure failed and her leg has become gangrenous and requires immediate amputation.
The amputation procedure is urgent before her whole leg becomes infected.
