Zayir UK is a registered charity in Lebanon since 2016. We have over 150 volunteers on the ground, spread across 6 locations (Beirut, Nabatiyi, Saida, Soor, Balbaak, Hermel). We launched in the UK in 2021 and since then we have sponsored 1000 families with regular aid during the economic crisis and run regular campaigns such as our Ramadan and Winter Campaigns.
As the only Lebanese-focussed charity group in the UK we were the first to respond to help displaced families since the start of the war. We have been fundraising for displaced families since October 2023 and continue to do so as the situation worsens.
Since the escalation of violence in the last week we have collaborated with schools and shelters in Lebanon housing displaced families and have provided:
- Food packages
- Cooked meals
- Mattresses & blankets
- Clothes
- Medical aid
- Hygiene products
- Milk for infants
- Financial aid to families to purchase their personal needs

Our plan above focuses on the NEEDS of the Lebnese people, after thorough assessment and discussions with local authorities. Other forms of aid are welcome but should be discussed with us first.
