🌙 Little Angels of Karbala: Honouring the Children of Karbala. Empowering the Children of Today.

Every year during Muharram, we gather to remember the noble sacrifice of Imam Hussain (ع) and the tragedy of Karbala — a tragedy not only of warriors and leaders, but of innocent children, whose pain, courage, and tears shook the heavens.

In their memory, Dar Al-Islam is launching the Little Angels of Karbala campaign — a special initiative where children in our community become ambassadors of love, generosity, and remembrance.

This year, we are aiming to raise £5,000 to help fund the Majalis of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussain (a) at Dar, ensuring that the legacy of Karbala continues to be honoured through powerful lectures, and community gatherings.

But this isn't just about fundraising — it's about meaningful participation.

This year, as we honour the children of Karbala, we cannot forget the suffering of children in Gaza — facing unimaginable hardship, displacement, and trauma.

We dedicate this campaign not only in remembrance of the children of Karbala, but also in solidarity with the innocent children of Gaza. Let our children remember, fundraise, and give — not just for the majalis, but for a future where compassion and justice triumph.
