In the blessed second half of Ramadhan, our community bid farewell to two noble souls who returned to their Lord:

Marhum Abul Qassim Kalyan (19th Ramadhan)
Marhum Shabbir Nazerali (23rd Ramadhan)

In their honour, and as a means of continuous thawab (reward) for them, we are undertaking a Water Well & Pump Project in a deserving area in Kenya, where access to clean water remains a daily struggle.

🌿 Remembering Their Legacy

Marhum Abul Qassim Kalyan dedicated decades of his life to nurturing young minds at Husseini Madressa, Mombasa. As both teacher and administrator, he guided and mentored hundreds of students, instilling God-consciousness in an age full of distractions. He played a vital role in the Students Welfare Section, the Volunteers Corps, and the annual Itikaf programs. Known for his gentle smile, soft-spoken nature, and humility, he was always ready to listen and support anyone in need.

Marhum Shabbir Nazerali was a humble and quiet individual, admired for his strength both on and off the field. A dedicated sportsman, he represented Jaffery Sports Club, Mombasa in cricket, volleyball, and football for many years. A true team player, he carried himself with dignity—never harsh, always supportive, and committed to uplifting those around him.

💧 A Lasting Legacy

This water well will serve as a source of life for a community in need—providing clean, sustainable water through solar power. Every drop drawn will be a source of ongoing reward (Sadaqah Jariyah) for these two respected individuals.

🤲 Be Part of This Reward

We invite you to contribute towards this noble cause and help us honour their legacy in a way that benefits generations to come.

📩 Donate, share, and keep them in your duas.

“When a believer dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: a continuous charity, knowledge that is benefited from, or a righteous child who prays for him.”

Al-Kāfī, Shaykh al-Kulaynī, vol. 7, p. 56

May Allah (SWT) grant them the highest مقام in Jannah and accept this as a means of نور and رحمة for them. Ameen.
