Ramadhan: Be the Reason a Family Breaks Their Fast

Ramadhan Relief Update 2026 – Lebanon

Alhamdulillah, through the blessings of Allah (SWT) and the generosity of our donors, we have successfully delivered Ramadhan food parcels to over 3,000 vulnerable families, providing the equivalent of more than 450,000 meals for the blessed month of Ramadhan.

However, due to the renewed hostilities along the southern border and the subsequent evacuation orders issued to several villages, we have been forced to suspend further food parcel distributions for the time being because of security risks and access restrictions.

Over the past few days, we have witnessed a significant movement of families from the southern villages towards the city of Beirut, as residents leave their homes seeking safety.

In response to this rapidly evolving situation, we have reactivated our kitchens and bakeries in Beirut.

Beginning today — the 15th of Ramadhan, marking the blessed birth anniversary of our Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (ع) — we will resume operations by providing freshly cooked Iftaar meals to displaced families arriving in the city.

Our immediate objective is to serve as many displaced people as possible, and where the need expands, we plan to open additional kitchens in other locations to support affected communities.

During our previous emergency campaign serving displaced families, our kitchens were able to deliver over 180,000 freshly cooked meals in less than two months.

With the mercy and blessings of Allah (SWT), we hope to exceed this number during the current response, InshaAllah.

The cost of providing a freshly prepared meal is approximately £1.50 (or $2.00) per person per day.

This Ramadhan, Feed a Family for 30 days.

As the blessed month of Ramadhan approaches, thousands of families in South Lebanon and the poorest areas of Beirut are facing the month with deep uncertainty—struggling to secure even the most basic food for ifṭār and suḥūr.

Since September 2024, by the grace of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) and with the generosity of donors like you, we have distributed over 1.2 million meals to vulnerable families across Lebanon. This Ramadhan, the need remains urgent.

Our Aim for Ramadhan 2026

We are seeking to provide food rations for 4,000 families, sustaining them for the entire 30 days of Ramadhan.

Each food box:
* Supports one family for a full month
* Contains essential dry food items suitable for ifṭār and suḥūr
* Costs $50 (£40) per family

For widows, orphans, elderly individuals, and families affected by prolonged hardship and insecurity, this food box is not a luxury—it is a lifeline.

Imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq (ع) said:
“Whoever feeds a believer food until he is satisfied, Allah will reward him with a reward that no angel brought near, nor any sent prophet, can fully encompass.”
