The Messenger of Allah said: “Give charity, and cure your sick ones through the giving of charity, for verily charity repels accidents and illnesses, and is a source of increase in your life spans and your good deeds”.  Kanz al-’Ummal

In the heart of Kazimia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, stands the Imam Musa al-Kazim Mosque, a sanctuary that has served as a beacon of hope, unity, and spiritual nourishment. Recently, our cherished mosque suffered substantial damage; the temporary roof was torn away by fierce storms, exposing the prayer hall to the elements. Yet, the spirit of community remains unbroken. The freshly cemented floor bears testament to our resilience, providing a solid ground where daily Qur'an teachings and congregational prayers forge bonds of unity and faith.

We are reaching out to kind hearts worldwide to help us rebuild and fortify the mosque with a permanent roof, ensuring a safe and tranquil space for worship and learning.

"And whoever does good voluntarily, then verily, Allah is All-Recogniser, All-Knowing."  Holy Qur'an 2:158

Project Breakdown:

- Roof Construction Materials and Labor (Sand, stones, Concrete Iron, Woods, Builders, Cement): $3015

- Supervision and Miscellaneous: $150

- Total Budget: $3165

Under the guidance of Islamic teachings, we invite the faithful to contribute to building places of worship. We have initiated a noble project to erect a permanent roof reinforced with durable materials, including cement, sand, stones, and wood, ensuring a tall structure for generations to come.

The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."  Sunan ibn Majah

As a gesture of heartfelt appreciation:

- Donations above £500 will be honoured by inscribing the donor’s name on a brick to be laid within the mosque's sacred walls, a perpetual reminder of their generous spirit.

- Contributions of £200 will be commemorated with the donor's name written on paper and preserved within the mosque’s hallowed walls, bearing witness to their act of benevolence.

We invite you to be a part of this blessed journey, a path illuminated with acts of kindness and guided by the principles of selflessness echoed in the teachings of Imam Musa al-Kazim.

Join hands with us in this sacred endeavour as we foster a haven of spiritual enlightenment and unity, reflecting the luminous principles of love, compassion, and community embedded in the Islamic faith.

“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom He pleases. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower.” Holy Qur'an 2:261

In anticipation of your generous support, we extend our deepest gratitude. May your contribution be a source of endless blessings, echoing in eternity, a beacon of light in this world and the hereafter.
