Marhaban Ya Ramadan...
The holy month full of blessings that all Muslims all over the world have been waiting for has finally come. A month where Allah SWT rewards every good deed we do will be multiplied up to 700 times! Particularly by sharing food with needy people, which will give us blessings such as: can remove sins, can enter one of the special gates of Heaven, and getting food in the hereafter.
Rasulullah once said, "Whoever feeds a person who is fasting, then for him the reward is like the person who is fasting, without reducing the reward of the person who is fasting at all" (HR Tirmidhi)
Indonesia is known as a country with beautiful scenery of archipelago. But saddened truthful fact lies before our eyes. The eastern part of Indonesia which consists of 74,000 villages, is dominated by poor communities. 18% of the villages are categorized as underdeveloped regions.
To share the joy of Ramadan, we intend to provide food packages to needy families in eastern Indonesia. Most of the residents live in the outer island. Due to that, the food aid will be distributed by vessels to the villages.
The Food Package will include:
Rice, cooking oil, sugar, sardines, eggs, milk, biscuits, etc, USD 30/pack, which is enough to fulfill their Ramadan needs for 2 weeks.
