Last year, we set out to serve 5,000 hot meals for the sake of Imam Al-Hussain (AS).
We ended up serving 10,000.
This year, we're going bigger. 15,000 meals. Nine nights. One city. One message — Hussain unites us.

In a world fractured by division, the name of Hussain (AS) still gathers strangers in the same street. This year our Mawkib is built around one truth — Hussain unites us. Across language, background, and belief, his stand still speaks: a love for the oppressed, a refusal to be silent in the face of wrong, a sacrifice that belongs to all of humanity.
More Than a Meal
For nine nights we'll serve lovers of the Ahlulbayt (AS), rough sleepers, struggling households, and everyday Londoners — but this year, the plate is just the beginning.
We're placing serious focus on carrying the story forward. The message of Imam Al-Hussain (AS), and the purpose of the Imam of our time (AJTF), will be told in ways this Mawkib has never told it before. New mediums. New experiences. Spaces that let the story land before a single word is spoken.

What Karbala Taught Us
When the family of Imam Al-Hussain (AS) went without water for three days, and Abu Fadhel (AS) gave his life trying to quench their thirst, they taught us what it means to give for the sake of truth and humanity.
Every plate we serve is a tribute — to Baby Ali Al-Asghar (AS), to Sayeda Zainab (AS), to every martyr of Karbala. A message of mercy, justice, and unconditional love, served on the streets of London.
What We're Raising
We're aiming to raise £8,000 this year to cover:
- Food & ingredients — rice, halal meat, bread, sweets, drinks for 15,000 meals
- Cooking & serving equipment — gas, stoves, large pots, serving stations
- The experience — materials and installations for our immersive storytelling spaces
- Essentials — containers, water, gloves, hygiene supplies
