Mawkib Sahib Al-Zaman (AJTF) – An Ahlulbayt Union & Muntazron Project
Feed the Spirit of Muharram – In the Heart of Kingsbury
This Muharram, we’re coming together to serve over 5,000 hot meals across Kingsbury and London, reviving the spirit of generosity we grew up with and sharing the timeless message of Imam Al-Hussain (AS).
📍 Kingsbury, North West London
📅 26th June – 4th July (9 nights)
🕛 12pm – 5pm daily
This is more than just food. It’s a community-led initiative rooted in sacrifice, compassion, and unity. Students, families, and workers are giving their time to prepare and distribute free, nutritious meals during these sacred days.
When the family of Imam Al-Hussain (AS) went without water for three days, and Abu Fadhel (AS) gave his life to try and quench their thirst, they taught us the meaning of giving for the sake of truth and humanity.
This initiative brings that legacy to our streets – serving not just the lovers of the Ahlulbayt (AS), but also rough sleepers, struggling households, and everyday Londoners with dignity, love, and justice.
Each plate is a tribute to Karbala – to Baby Ali Al-Asghar (AS), to Sayeda Zainab (AS), and every martyr. It’s a message of mercy, justice, and unconditional love.
We’re aiming to raise £3,000 to help cover:
- Cooking equipment: Gas tanks, stoves, large pots
- Ingredients: Rice, bread, halal meat, oil, sweets, drinks
- Essentials: Containers, water, gloves, hygiene items
💛 Just £5 can feed 5 people.
Skip a coffee – serve a meal.
“And whose words are better than someone who calls ˹others˺ to Allah, does good, and says, “I am truly one of those who submit.”
– Surah Fussilat (41:33)
