Since September 2024, families in Lebanon have been displaced across the country due to the ongoing war. As a result, many Lebanese families have incurred heavy losses, namely the loss of family members, loss of their homes and possessions, and the loss of their livelihoods.
This project aims to deliver donations directly to displaced Lebanese families in need of support to help with their essential needs during this difficult time. These needs include, but are not limited to: Food and drink, temporary housing, clothing, heating, educational needs, and urgent medical care.
Money will be directly distributed according to a needs assessment based on each family’s circumstances. Accounts will be recorded to track where the donations are sent and how they are used. For transparency, receipts and images depicting how the funds have been utilised will be shared with mysadaqa where possible.
