🏴 To the lovers of aba abdillah (as)🏴
For the 13th year running (since 2012), we will insha’Allah be serving the zowwar of Arbaeen in the holy city of Karbala with the help of your donations. We also support other mawakib in Najaf and on the mashaya route, so your donations will have gone to serve the visitors of imam al-Hussain (as) across their ziyarah.
Last year we collected around £20.000 and with your donations handed out:
- - 20 tonnes watermelon
- - 2 tonnes apples
- - 1 tonne cucumber
- - 1.5 tonnes bananas
- - 50 000 cups of smoothies (peach, apple, melon, banana smoothies)
- - 20 000 cups of fresh grape juice
- - 144 000 water
Due to the heat, we will again focus on handing out colder items to the zowwar.
This work depends solely on the contribution of the lovers of Imam al-Hussain (as). If you would like to donate, whether small or big, you will be counted as part of those who fed the visitors of aba abdillah (as). To put things in perspective, 1 tonne watermelon costs around 400 USD ~ £350.

للعام الثالث عشر على التوالي (منذ 2012)، سنقوم إن شاء الله بخدمة زوار الأربعين في مدينة كربلاء المقدسة بمساعدة تبرعاتكم.
كما أننا ندعم المواكب الأخرى في النجف وعلى طريق المشاية، فتكون تبرعاتكم لصالح زوار الامام الحسين (ع) عبر زيارتهم.
في العام الماضي جمعنا حوالي 20.000 جنيه إسترليني ومن خلال تبرعاتكم تم توزيع:
• 20 طن بطيخ
• 2 طن تفاح
• 1 طن خيار
• 1.5 طن موز
• 50000 كوب من العصائر (عصائر الخوخ والتفاح والبطيخ الأحمر والموز)
• 20000 كوب من عصير العنب الطازج
• 144000 كوب ماء مثلج
بسبب الحرارة، سنركز مرة أخرى على توزيع المواد الباردة على الزوار. وهذا العمل يعتمد فقط على مساهمة محبي الامام الحسين (ع). إذا أردت التبرع سواء كان صغيراً أو كبيراً فسوف تُحسب من الذين أطعموا زوار أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام). لوضع الأمور في نصابها الصحيح، يكلف طن واحد من البطيخ حوالي 400 دولار أمريكي ~ 350 جنيهًا إسترلينيًا.
