Dar-Ul Muslimeen is an orphanage in Morogoro Tanzania that provides housing and education for orphans and children that have been rescued from abusive parents. This orphanage is particularly close to my heart - not only because it is in my country of origin, but because the story of how this orphanage came to be is truly inspiring. The founders do incredible work and the children are nurtured, loved and helped to overcome their painful starts in life to achieve their potential.
The link below is a documentary about the orphanage and shares the story of some of the children who have been rescued. Please note that one story is particularly harrowing.

This year, the founder of Dar Ul Muslimeen reached out to us to ask if we could help raise funds to help with Iftars and we'd love to help them make Ramadan and Eid special for these children.
Each communal Iftar (evening meal) is $200 for all the children and ideally, I'd like to help with as many iftars as possible.
In memory of my late father, Marhum Kassamali Daya.
Thank you much for your generosity.
