We are a small family orientated shia community, established in 2013, just 100miles north-east of London.
The community consists of people from Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indian, Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan. Many of these people came to first study at Norwich University where some stayed on and became part of the larger community in Norwich.
Throughout the years, our donations have mainly come from the local Momineen and Moninaat.
Lately, we have found a perfect space and a location for our community to grow in; a centre that will allow our children, brothers and sisters, the elderly in our community to come together in safe space to practice there religion.
At present we require approximately £100,000 to finish the purchase and also allow us to do some work on it to prepare it and make it ready for members of the community to visit inshallah. It will be our honor to welcome people from the wider community to visit us at our new centre once we have purchased it.
We are asking our fellow brothers, sisters, momineen and mominaat in the community to come together; to help us fundraise for this cause and spread the teachings Ahlulbayt (A.S). Our Aim is to hold our first Month of Muharram Majlis at the centre, with your help this year.
