College Appeal for Ramadhani Mussa Kiullah

Ramadhani was born in Moshi District, Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. He attended Mandela Primary School and then proceeded to Anna Mkapa Secondary School. In 2020, he completed Form 4, achieving an average classification of Division 2. Ramadhani is the second born of 2 children. His father passed away in 2019 following a period illness due to liver complications and his mother is now the main breadwinner of the family. Ramadhani’s elder brother, Amini, who is 22 years old, works as a bodaboda driver, with no stable income. The family’s total monthly income is insufficient to meet any more than their day to day living expenses. Last year, Ramadhani was selected to undertake a Diploma in Business Administration at the National Institute of Technology in Dar es salaam. However, his family do not have the means to meet the cost of tuition, accommodation, educational materials and living expenses. In his own words: “I am asking for help to attend college as this will be the foundation of my future life. There are no jobs available here without an education, and I do not have the capital or experience to setup my own business. Without the opportunity to continue my education, I do not know what I will do. After completing my course, I will have several options including self-employment and being employed.” **£2000 will ensure Ramadhani's college tuition and living expenses for his first year are covered.**
