Our Madressa students will be fundraising for the Ali Asghar Water Appeal, in partnership with Stanmore Jafferys and WF-AID.
The students will take part in a sponsored 'Acts of Kindness' activity to raise funds for clean, sustainable water solutions for those in need.
All funds raised will support the installation of 20 water wells to provide a sustainable and reliable source of clean water to underserved rural communities across multiple districts in Uganda. These wells are designed to supply safe groundwater to thousands of beneficiaries daily, reducing reliance on unsafe sources such as swamps and ponds, while ensuring consistent access to water for households, schools, and local institutions.
Communities in these regions currently face significant challenges due to limited access to safe water, requiring long and often dangerous journeys to collect water, which impacts health, education, and livelihoods. The installation of these wells will transform access to water by reducing waterborne diseases, improving hygiene standards, and easing the burden on women and children.
Through community engagement and the formation of local water management committees, the project will ensure long-term sustainability, reliable operation, and lasting impact for the communities served.
We are truly humbled and grateful for your generous contributions and we pray to Allah to multiply your giving's through his infinite mercy
