We are Afifa and Sana, best friends since high school and united in our love-hate relationship with running! We've had different journeys into our marathon story, but now we've teamed up to raise funds for a project to sponsor the education of under privileged children in a small town called Kigoma in Tanzania.
£800 will sponsor a child's living costs and education (including tuition fee, accommodation, meals, stationery, textbooks, examination fees, uniforms, sports, transportation, medical
fees and a stipend) for a year, so help us reach our target of £1600 to sponsor two children and make a real difference not only to their lives now, but to their future.
Training has been hard, especially through the month of Ramadan when we've been fasting, but we feel privileged to have the opportunity to run this incredible event with Stanmore Jaffery's and raise funds for this worthwhile cause.
