Running for a Future: My London Marathon Journey
On April 27th, I will be taking on one of the biggest physical and mental challenges of my life: the London Marathon. 26.2 miles through the heart of London, pushing my body and mind to their limits. But this journey is about more than just crossing the finish line—it’s about transforming lives.
Education is a powerful tool. It opens doors, creates opportunities, and changes the trajectory of a person’s life. Yet, for many students in Kigoma, Tanzania, secondary education remains out of reach due to financial barriers. The annual cost for one student to attend secondary school is £800—a sum that can mean the difference between a future filled with opportunity and one constrained by circumstance.
That’s why I’m dedicating my marathon effort to raising funds to support students in Kigoma. My goal is to provide at least one student with a full year of education, ensuring they have access to the resources, teachers, and opportunities they need to succeed.
I need your support to make this happen. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will contribute to this life-changing opportunity. Whether it’s £5, £10, or more, your generosity will help pave the way for a brighter future.
Donate now and be a part of something truly meaningful.
