Running, the simple act of placing a foot in front of the other. Except it's not always quite that simple and doesn't always feel like your feet are cooperating with your body.

 The longer the distance, the harder it is to keep going, but what keeps me motivated is my REASON! Why am I running and who am I running for?

This April, we will be partaking in the London Marathon 2023 and will raise money for young orphans in Iraq to receive an education. The only difference is that, this year London marathon is the day after EID. This will be tough straight after the month of fasting, but hopefully we can do this.

As seen first hand, the joy of these children's faces lighting up when participating in sports, painting in art and learning how to add and subtract in a maths lesson. This will motivate us to complete the 26.2 miles. 

This run is a fight to help break the cycle of poverty.

Let's do this for a better tomorrow
